Our aim is to raise £30,000 for Jamie to undergo selective dorsal rhizotomy surgery which isn’t currently available on the NHS. All funds raised will go directly to the Hospital to pay for surgery.
Our 6 year old son Jamie was born with Cerebral Palsy and diagnosed at 18 months. Since being diagnosed Jamie has undergone various treatments from Conductive Education which has got him walking all be it with difficulty, Botox injections to relax his spasmed muscles to daily physiotherapy sessions!
Jamie has been offered this life changing operation which will enable him to improve his mobility with the possibility of him having the same mobility as an able bodied person.
Without this operation his mobility will deteriorate with the likely hood of him being wheelchair bound and having to undergo various painful orthopedic operations to correct or ease spine, hip, knee or ankle problems.
